WATCH: Mock Draft [Season 47 PBA Rookie Draft | May 15, 2022]

Sixty-six aspirants led by Fil-Am Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser and collegiate star Justin Arana will be up for selection in Sunday’s Season 47 Annual Draft at Robinsons Place Manila.

Ganuelas-Rosser topbills the 12 Fil-foreign applicants who made the grade
after the final screening of the PBA Commissioner’s Office last Friday.

With him in this category are Jeremiah Gray, Charles Cadua, PBA 3×3 mainstay Carlo de Chavez, John Jeryl Espanola, Jerwyn Guinto, Tyrus Hill, Earvin Lacsamana, Ronnel Ramirez, Reuben Saldua, Kyle Matthew Toth and Kameron Vales.

Highly-touted Fil-Am Sedrick Barefield, a former G League player and one of the prospective No. 1 picks, didn’t make the cut as he failed to submit the required Philippine passport on time.

The pro league has eased up on its requirements for Fil-foreign hopefuls, doing away with the old Department of Justice and Bureau of Immigration documentations beginning this year.

Rosser, who is currently serving Gilas Pilipinas 3×3 in the Southeast Asian Games, looms as a possible top selection in this batch, which was originally at 75 before getting pruned down.

With Barefield out and promising La Salle star Justine Baltazar withdrawing from the draft, the likes of collegiate standouts Justin Arana, JM Calma, Jeo Ambohot, Gian Mamuyac and Tyler Tio, and Draft Combine Finals MVP Encho Serrano are expected to boost their stocks.
