James Laput, the tallest player in the 2020 Annual Draft at 6-foot-10, is heading over to the Magnolia Hotshots.
The 24-year-old, who was drafted 8th overall by Terrafirma, has been dealt by the Dyip to the Hotshots for point guard Justin Melton and big man Kyle Pascual.
Melton played eight seasons with Magnolia and won four championships. The 5-9 playmaker was also named PBA All-Star Weekend co-champion in 2014.
Pascual on the other hand, played for the Hotshots since 2017. He also played for Kia Sorento, which drafted him in the second round of the 2014 Annual Draft, before being trade to Blackwater in 2016.
