Magnolia and Rain or Shine are set to clash one final time for a coveted spot in the PBA Season 49 Governors’ Cup semifinals, as they face off in a thrilling quarterfinal rubber match this Saturday at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.

The Hotshots secured their place in this do-or-die showdown by decisively defeating the Elasto Painters, 129-100, in Game 4 just a few days ago, forcing a sudden death.

Young standout Zavier Lucero, who was sidelined in Game 4 due to concussion protocols, remains uncertain for this match, listed as day-to-day.

Regardless of Lucero’s status, Magnolia is fully prepared to take on Rain or Shine in their 7:30 p.m. showdown.

The victor will advance to face TNT in a best-of-seven semifinal series.
